I was born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. After college, I moved to Atlanta, GA where I lived for 10 years. During my time in Atlanta I began my work as a Montessori teacher with kids ages 3-6 and also met a handsome English man named Iain, who I married in 2021! Fast forward a few years - we currently live in Weymouth, MA with our mischievous Sheepadoodle, Lola and this past year we welcomed our first baby girl, Pippa!
While I’m still a full time Montessori teacher, one of the things I’ve always loved, and keep coming back to, is photography. In Atlanta I had so much fun documenting the joy in our classroom and capturing each of the little people’s personalities.
Every child and family is so unique - I absolutely love capturing love and genuine connections and I cannot wait to capture yours.
My husband is my biggest supporter. After years of having phone calls with photographers I admire, taking photos with my iPhone, and occasionally dabbling with a hand-me down camera, he bought me my Canon camera on maternity leave with my first baby, Pippa. He constantly encourages me and inspires me to keep learning, trying, and growing.
Pippa was the impetus for me to finally put the dream I’d been dreaming of for so long into action. I love that she’s gotten to see her mom start something from nothing, be scared to learn something completely new, but do it anyway. She’s my reason to keep going and growing even on the days when I’m tired or have imposter syndrome; to keep going after my dreams and live a life I truly love and enjoy, so that she’ll grow up to do the same, whatever that looks like for her.
I grew up on Cape Cod and we’d take family trips to Nantucket in the Summers. I live on the South Shore now, but find myself drawn to these two spots every Summer. There’s nothing better than a day at the beach reading a good book and taking a nap to the sound of the waves.
On clothes, on bedsheets, you name it. A good nautical stripe never goes out of style.
The fleeting days of pregnancy and those tiny toes pass by in the blink of an eye. I cherish the opportunity to capture the simple beauty of your family just as you are now, in moments that slip away all too quickly.
Family sessions are my specialty and passion. I adore leading relaxed, playful shoots that highlight each person's personality and celebrate the genuine love and connection that makes every family unique.
